There is no play when the Bend – La Pine school district calls a snow closure.
A potluck is held before play and starts around 11:00am. Everyone is welcome to attend and bring a dish.
A Club meeting is held before play on the 4th Friday of the month.
A Board meeting is held after play on the 2nd Friday of the month.
Cost
Yearly dues are $24, payable in January. Dues for members joining mid-year are prorated.
Single deck is $5 for members and $7 for non-members.
Double deck is $7 for members and non-members.
A club fund is available for players who may need some help with the entry fees, as money should not be a barrier to coming out and having fun.
Tournaments
Tournaments are held on the 4th Friday of even months. Entry is $10, members only.
Prizes
Various prizes are given on all play days (typically first through fifth place, last place, going set, and high hand). Prizes are higher on tournaments days. There are club-sponsored pots for 1000 Aces and a 1500 Double Run.
Our Rules
Because we play for prizes, the Club has standardized rules of play (see Resources below). Deviation from the rules is not allowed. The rules can be moderated by an attending board member. Table talk is not allowed. Incorrect deals and other irregularities will result in a renege if not caught before play begins.
Classes
Classes are held and advertised through Bend Parks & Recreation. A two-day format with hands-on play is taught by club members.
The next class is April 10 and 17, 2025 from 9:30-11:30 at the Larkspur facility of Bend Parks & Recreation. Register here.
The next anticipated class is August 7 and 14, 2025.
